Absolutely. I teamed up with a couple of people to do Sskai run. They had been trying all day and hadn't got a single sword. We did four runs together, the sword dropped twice, both times for me. I felt bad for them so I ended up giving them each one of the swords leaving me with a single minor rune from the four runs, but it made their day so....

I teamed up with my guildee (husband) for the weekend and usually a henchie or two....most of the bosses dropped on the first or second attempt a green ----though a few didnt. It was a fun weekend for a change!

I too was able to get most of the greens I wanted.....my monk has a new smiting staff, my ele got that dang island guardian to drop his wand (ok, it was my mesmer and the guildee w/mo after 6 attempts, but dammmit, we finally got it!!!!!!

) and my rit got a staff and wand (now she is trying out chanelling for a change). My necro got another staff (had stonereaper from an earlier drop) and my guildee even got a shield (near the rit construct)....alll n all a good haul----though I did miss a few bosses I wanted a try at....but happy with what I got anyways!

I'm happy that i got a new staff for my monk! If only i got something decent for my elementlist to use.

Best weekend event so far. Usually went out with three other guildies and we farmed the hell out of the jade sea and a few other places. My drops. Between all of us we probably had about 45 greens drop. I got about 16. We farmed for a few hours on friday night and about 6 on sunday. Good times.

I spent a couple of days during the event farming greens to kit out my new Ele and extras for guildies. I was after specific items, once I've gotten the number of items I wanted I moved on to the next boss on the list. And, yes, I was sad enough to keep a tally of actual kills for a green to drop.

Soloing
2 x Rajazan's Fervor; dropped on the 9th and 29th kill.

2 x Arbor's Earth Staff; dropped on 5th and 14th kill.

2 x Zarnas' Wrath; dropped on the 16th and 43rd kill.

3 x The Stonereaper; dropped on 23rd, 35th and 39th kill.

(For the 2 above, guildie joined for duo-ing after the 25th kill).

Duo-ing with guildie
2 x The Windcatcher; dropped on the 5th and 6th kill (both times for guildie).

Duo-ing with guildie and 3 henchmen support
2 x Amadis' Air Staff; dropped on the 12th and 19th kill.

2 x Kenrii's Sorrow; dropped on the 1st and 2nd kill (luckiest one, dropped for each of us really quickly).

1 x Koosun's Fire Staff; dropped on the 4th kill.

I'm happy that I manage to get the items that I wanted, but to be honest, I didn't find the drops to be any different to other times I've farmed for green items.

That alone I find absolutely insane. I soloed Stonereaper 6 times, and got 3 staves. Every boss I went after dropped their green just about every other kill. Considering before this weekend I had only had 3 greens drop for me and my wife, and during the 7 hours we played on this weekend we managed 17 greens. I'd say that's a pretty damn good droprate.

Hmm... maybe you're just incredibly unlucky. That or maybe... wait 39th kill??? Anti-farming code, possibly? Yeesh.
